Is there something fishy?...

Father's Day forced me to make some 'angler's cards', as many Fathers like to angle in their free time. I was inspired by the DYSU challenge and this photo:

But it's the colours of water that inspired me most. So the card came off like this:
I used three colours of blue to present the sea water, as well as the structural paste to make the surf.
The angler is 3D, his fishing rod is a tooth pick and the fish is a charm. I'm not really proud of the colour of his face, I need to buy some other markers (these are the school markers). Anyway I think he got his suntan patchy and this is the version I'm gonna insist on ;)
The text says 'Succesfull catches!'.
If you would like to catch some fishes for dinner, the boat leaves here:

This is so cute! Your coloring is wonderful. I love the orange accent, the perfect contrast to blue. Great design! Thanks for playing along with DYSU this week :)

Great fish charm. And I love the texture of the foam on the water! A little trick I learned about using school markers, if you color first in pencil crayon and then marker, it evens out the color better and protects your paper too. Thank-you for sharing with us at The Poodles Parlour!

Aaaaa, thank you so much Barb!!! I already tried using pencil crayon ON the marker but it didn't work... I didn't know I should do it in reverse order ;) thank you so much for your advice! Hugs xxx Anna
